We’ve come a long way in the last year…
It wasn’t that long ago that I called Salesforce to introduce myself, tell them about my background, industry experience, and certifications, and then asked them very nicely to make my still fairly new company Silver Softworks a Registered Consulting Partner.
There were a few hoops to jump through, but we were finally made a Registered Consulting Partner in May 2016. We bought some new business cards with the registered partner logo on to celebrate, and I probably made myself a nice cup of tea and then went back to whichever client project I was working on at the time.
I remember wondering how much work would be involved to reach the next tier – Silver Partner, and set the company the ambitious goal of reaching that tier within twelve months. This would involve ensuring that we delivered a consistently high quality of work, maintained a high customer satisfaction (CSAT) score (ours is currently 10/10 by the way), and substantially grew the company.
Expertise would also be important for our partner score, which is why we ensure that all of our staff are Salesforce certified across the board.
We qualified to become a Silver Partner in January 2017, seven months after first becoming a registered partner. Our promotion became official earlier this month, and we couldn’t be happier.
We’ve gone from strength to strength over the last year, and our promotion from Salesforce goes a long way to validating the level of service that we offer to our customers.
So, fingers crossed, in another year I may be making another post to let you all know that we’ve been promoted to Gold Partner, although “Silver Softworks, Gold Salesforce Partner” may sound a bit strange… We’ll figure that one out later.
We have big plans for the next twelve months, so watch this space.
