About the company
Founded in 1979, Keenpac create, source and deliver branded packaging solutions to retailers globally. Their experienced and knowledgeable team offer their customers a complete range of bespoke branded packaging across a multitude of sectors including; high street and luxury fashion, watches, jewellery, beauty and cosmetics.
Keenpac offers an amazing global service with offices in; UK, New York, Chicago, Switzerland, Italy, China and Hong Kong. Keenpac is part of Bunzl plc, providing customers with financial security, access to global resources and the reassurance of being supported by a FTSE 100 company.
The main issue was Keenpac were using an old, bespoke built CRM system, which due to business growth and diversification was no longer fit for purpose. As Keenpac’s product base grew, their previous system was unable to keep up with demand and caused many issues. All sales reporting was completed manually, which was not only a time-consuming process, but also caused inaccurate data. Due to how long and inefficient processes were, the user adoption of the old system was very low and ineffective.
After assessing the brief, we set about creating a whole new personalised system, beginning with addressing the areas of Sales Automation, including Web to Lead, Opportunity Stages and ongoing Campaign Monitoring to ensure all areas were of a new time conscious alternative. Another time saving element was providing the ability to automate multiple sales reports, designed to remove the manual element of putting these reports together. Automating reporting, as well as sales deal tracking allowed for cutting down on time spent generating statistics and metrics as well as minimise errors previously faced with manual processes.
We created a full ‘End to End’ journey, from Unqualified Lead, right up to Customer Purchase Order. Looking at the whole journey allowed us to ensure the new system is entirely fit for purpose and designed with the user’s best interests. This includes even finding solutions for Fulfilment Automation, achieved by creating an Integration with a back-end finance system (Sage).
Overall the outcome of the system was successful, with a new user-friendly way of working, designed with automation and business growth in mind. Ultimately all leading to an increased user adoption, meaning the staff agreed with the positivity of the changes made and embraced their new fit for purpose platform.

Silver Softworks have a long-standing support agreement with Keenpac where we continue to work together to improve and build upon their current Salesforce implementation. Keenpac utilise Silver Softworks Support in a number of ways; from answering day-to-day questions or making quick configuration changes, to rolling out new features and maintaining system integrations.
Silver Softworks is now a proven trusted advisor for Keenpac, ensuring the smooth running of their business. In fact, we are currently working with Keenpac to roadmap the future of their Salesforce instance, including rolling this out to their offices around the world due to the success proved at their office here in the UK.
